Trip Designed to Advance Key Regional Themes

As in years passed, the agenda will be developed around key regional themes that will be advanced to our Congressional Delegation. This year during the BakerHostetler Central Florida Partnership "Trip to Washington, D.C.," our themes, decided by the Regional Planning Committee will be: Hospitality, Travel & Tourism - Changing policies and procedures to facilitate welcoming the world to Florida (and Orlando) with expedited, customer-focused visa and global entry procedures; Research Funding - The nation's future prosperity and economic competitive advantages will rest greatest on the ability of our universities and colleges to continue to provide the intellectual properties and disruptive discoveries that set America apart; and Entrepreneurship - Revitalize the engine of entrepreneurial innovation by tax, regulatory and other reforms that liberate job creation. Previously, discussions have centered on Aerospace Research & Development, as well as the Modeling, Simulation & Training industry cluster so important to Florida's Super Region. This event is Sold Out!

Central Florida Is Part of Florida's Super Region - Coast-to-Coast

As in years past, members of our Regional Delegation will include participation by government, business and civic leaders representing organizations from Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, and Volusia Counties. And, too, it will involve representatives from the Central Florida Congress of Regional Leaders, and, of course, Board Members, Supporters, Sponsors, and "friends" of the University of Central Florida, the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, Florida High-Tech Council, the National Center for Simulation; Orlando, Inc., Visit Orlando, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, the Central Florida Partnership, and the Tampa Bay Partnership.
