Leaders – A New Generation

Little did they know when they met during the first session of Leadership Orlando Class 71 in November 2006, that they would be expecting twins just four years later!  Eric Jackson, Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Stephanie Batista Jackson, Senior Vice President of Finance at Tavistock Group, recently announced their exciting news.

The Leadership Orlando program has always promised great information, networking and access to the region’s assets.  And, over the years, there have been a number of marriages along with the multiple business transactions that result from building relationships.  And, yes, a number of “little leaders” have been added to the mix.

This announcement is of particular interest to the Central Florida Partnership team because Eric was once a program manager for WorkForce 2020, a three-year effort to educate the business community on the particular challenges faced by their entry-level workers, and to encourage employers to provide training and a career path for their front-line workers.

Congratulations – Eric and Stephanie!  Should we hold a couple of spaces in Leadership Orlando Class 125?

Leadership Orlando can change your life!  If you have been looking for the “right” time to participate, or know someone who would benefit from a leadership experience, now is indeed the perfect time to be a part of America’s largest Community Leadership program, Leadership Orlando.  Preparing for the future of our region is up to each of us.  Now is the time to learn about the issues, participate in the difficult conversations and help in guiding our future.

Enrollment is currently underway for Class 80, scheduled to begin in September.  Space is limited, so don’t delay!  The online enrollment form and the full schedule may be accessed at www.orlando.org/leadership.  Should you have questions, contact Kathy Panter at 407.835.2499 or via email at Kathy.Panter@ideastoresults.org.
