Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Endorses SunRail in "State of the City"

Earlier this year, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer endorsed the economic power of SunRail.  During his "State of the City," on Thursday, March 10, 2011, Mayor Dyer spoke to the importance of transportation when it comes to the future success of the Central Florida Region.

SunRail Will Have a Powerful and Positive Economic Impact on Central Florida

Mayor Jacobs and Mayor Dyer agree, "No project in our region will have the power to impact people's daily lives the way SunRail will; SunRail will provide a desperately-needed alternative to clogged roadways and rising gas prices, and SunRail will create 113,000 jobs and billions of dollars in positive economic impact.  Even if you never set foot on the train, SunRail will make Central Florida a better place in which to live, work, learn and play."

Local Leaders Support SunRail - Working Together For a Better Central Florida

Orlando Mayor Dyer is the Chairman of the Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission (SunRail) and is joined by Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, Vice Chair; Seminole County Commissioner Carlton Henley; Volusia County Council Chairman Frank Bruno; and Osceola County Commissioner Brandon Arrington.  Together, these Elected Leaders are working for a better Central Florida.  Want to know more, when it comes to the "Facts & Figures" regarding SunRail, just "click here."
